2021-2022 MCC Lunch Attendance Requirement – Waived

Dear Military-Civilian Club Members,

As we proceed into the 100th year of our club, we continue to have concern for your safety in the forefront of our minds.  While we highly encourage everyone to attend as many luncheons as possible this year, we realize not everyone is comfortable with the current state of COVID.  With this in mind, we are waiving the attendance requirement for the year 2021-2022 which should allow everyone to make their own decisions.

In an effort to maximize safety for those attending, we encourage you to pay the $40 luncheon fee in advance (constant contact invite).  If you must pay at the door, we kindly request that you pay by check made out to Military-Civilian Club.  The cashiers will be happy to assist you in the process.

Presidents' Corner

Dear Military-Civilian Club Members,

It is our honor to be your 2021-2022 Military-Civilian Club Presidents as we begin our 100th year in earnest!  In May 1921, this unique and prestigious organization was established to “foster patriotism and the integration of military and civilian communities of the San Antonio area.”  We hope to build on the legacy of our predecessors and look forward to serving you this coming year.

Our Board is planning for the year ahead, working throughout the summer arranging exciting luncheon programs, creating membership mailings, publishing the Yearbook, and planning Fiesta 2022.  We’d like to thank all who have generously volunteered your time and expertise.  Your support and service to carry out the mission of the club is deeply appreciated.

The first opportunity to connect and reconnect is our Welcome Coffee, Monday September 13th at the Quarry Golf Club where we honor and welcome our new members and renew friendships with returning members.

As always, your safety is our utmost concern.  We will continue to monitor state and local directives to ensure our members safety and compliance with the latest developments in the COVID pandemic.

We truly look forward to serving as your Presidents this year.  We hope it will be a joyous year filled with great events and rewarding fellowships.
